- Pollution types : air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution.
- Environmental problems : global warming, deforestation, drought, extinction of animals.
- Solutions : recycling (paper, plastic, glass), saving energy (turning off lights), planting trees, using public transport.
- Grammar focus :
- Modals of obligation/advice : must, should, have to.
- Conditionals : $If + present, will + verb$ (First Conditional).
Exemple : $If$ we recycle, we $will$ reduce waste.
- Obligation : We must stop cutting down trees.
- Conseil : You should use a bicycle instead of a car.
- Conditionnel : If people pollute the sea, fish will die.
Erreurs fréquentes
- Oublier le "s" à la 3ème personne du singulier dans la conditionnelle : "If he pollutes (et non pollute) the river, the water will be dirty."
- Confondre "should" (conseil) et "must" (obligation légale ou forte).
