  • Supporting Sentences : Donnez des raisons ou des exemples (ex: Firstly, they have great energy... Secondly, they are creative...).

Exemples corrigés

Exemple 1 (Vocabulaire) : Question : Complete with: ambition or unemployment. "Many young people face ________ after graduation." Réponse : unemployment. (Car on parle de la difficulté après les études).

Exemple 2 (Grammaire - Purpose) : Question : Rewrite using "so that". "She studies hard to pass the exam." Réponse : "She studies hard so that she can pass the exam."

Erreurs fréquentes

  • Confusion entre "Youth" et "Young" : "Youth" est un nom (la jeunesse), "Young" est un adjectif (jeune). On ne dit pas "The youngs", on dit "Young people" ou "The youth".
  • Mauvaise utilisation de "so as to" : Ne pas oublier le "as". On écrit $so\ as\ to$, pas juste $so\ to$.
  • Confusion entre "Purpose" et "Result" : "So" exprime un résultat, alors que "so as to" exprime un but.
