2. Grammar: Expressing Preferences Pour exprimer ce que l'on aime ou n'aime pas, on utilise souvent la structure : $$Subject + Verb\ of\ preference + Verb\text{-ing}$$
- Verbs of preference : Like, love, enjoy, prefer, hate, dislike, can't stand.
- Example : $I\ enjoy\ reading\ novels.$ (et non $I\ enjoy\ to\ read$).
3. Grammar: Expressing Purpose (Le but) Pour expliquer pourquoi on fait une activité :
- To + Infinitive : $I\ go\ to\ the\ gym\ to\ stay\ fit.$
- In order to / So as to + Infinitive : $I\ watch\ movies\ in\ order\ to\ relax.$
Méthodes à maîtriser
- Décrire un hobby : Utiliser le présent simple pour les habitudes et ajouter des adjectifs pour donner une opinion.
- Comparer deux activités : Utiliser la structure $Prefer\ A\ to\ B$ (ex: $I\ prefer\ swimming\ to\ running$).
- Structurer un paragraphe : Commencer par une introduction (présenter l'activité), donner des détails (quand, avec qui, où) et finir par une conclusion (pourquoi vous l'aimez).
Exemples corrigés
